Peaceful
I am a big fan of “grunge” Swedish band Riddarna. Have always supported them in this blog. Therefore, I was eager to listen to first single from Patrik Jakubowski, member of Riddarna, who goes solo with a debut EP named Ocean (the single will be out officially tomorrow, the EP next autumn).
Surprise, surprise: this “Excited Hiker” does not sound Riddarnish at all. More a calm ballad with no shouts, no rage, juste a peaceful feeling. Like the view of an ocean? Well, it would be easy to say so, but it will be correct as well. All in all, this is a quite relaxing song that makes me curious to listen to the whole EP.
